Id Pro Quo – description of stories I’d like to read

Dear Writer, thank you for participating! I’ve prepared a post to better explain what kind of stories would delight me the most.

General DNWs:
- character bashing, ESPECIALLY not towards characters in requested ships; we are all good dogs here
- ships that break requested ships unless requested (as in She-Ra entry)
- general flanderisation of characters
- "they did nothing wrong" approach (they did very much wrong and are very very sorry)
- stories focusing on sex rather than emotions and plot - tbh I'd rather have a g-rated fic where they don't even kiss than a lemon

Fandom #1: Voltron: Legendary Defender

Main ships: Allura/Lotor, Keith/Shiro

Optional ships: Acxa/Narti, Ezor/Zethrid, Lance/Pidge, Hunk/Shay

What I want to read is an AU diverging from episode 52 where the following events happen:

-Allura doesn’t leave Lotor in the Rift, instead rescuing him against the advice of the other Paladins; he is badly injured and takes time recovering

-The time skip doesn’t happen for reasons left to the Writer – you don’t really have to explain that divergence

-Allura doesn’t transfer Shiro’s soul into Kuron’s body, instead healing the injured clone; the team rescues some clone pods from the Black Paladins site – however, those don’t have souls yet, so Allura transplants Shiro’s soul to one of them.

-The interaction of two Shiros happen. Kuron feels extremely guilty for his actions, but as he wasn’t in control of them, the team accepts him and he stays as Shiro’s twin brother.

-Lotor wakes after some time. When he gets well enough, he explains the situation with the Colony to the team – what happened there is up to the Writer, but I want Lotor not to willingly led to the deaths of the Alteans; ideally the people would be in cryosleep similar to how Allura and Coran were sleeping for centuries.

-The ordeal with Kuron makes Lotor realize what happened with Narti and be regretful. The team flies to Lotor’s original ship and retrieves Kova and Narti, who wasn’t dead but in a state of deep hibernation due to her unique biology; Allura heals her. Lotor apologizes and Narti begrudgingly joins the team, hoping to reunite with Acxa, Ezor and Zethrid.

-Now three major plot points are left: Honerva going to the Colony, Sendak going to Earth, and interpersonal relationships of various characters. I want for Lotor and Narti to reunite with the rest of their original team – they may no longer be friends or want to work with Lotor, but I want a closure for them. The romantic resolutions for Allura/Lotor and Keith/Shiro are welcome, but they don’t have to be major plot points. I also like Acxa/Narti, Ezor/Zethrid, Lance/Pidge and Hunk/Shay. You can make one of the Shiros reconcilliate with Adam, as long as the other stays with Keith.

-Also, "filling the plot holes". I'd like the backstory for Shiro - why doesn't he seem to have any family? Who was Keith's father? Give him a name and backstory - I'd prefer if you made him a Native American living in a Reserve. Finally, give everybody surnames!

Fandom #2: Madoka Magika

Main ship: Madoka/Homura
Optional ships: Kyouko/Sayaka/Mami, Oriko/Kirika, Iroha/Nanami

While the previous option was an AU, for this fandom I was a continuation acknowledging Rebellion Story and continuing it in a way that leads to a mostly happy ending for everybody involved as well as happy madohomu endgame. I hope the tags will be inspiring. What is necessary though is:

-All the girls ending the story alive

-The girls getting memories from all the past time loops so that they understand Homura and each other better

-Madoka and Homura continue living on Earth as humans

-Magia Record and other spin off girls may get involved if wish you for them to.

Fandom #3: She-Ra and The Princesses of Power

Main ship: Catra/Adora or Catra/Scorpia

This one should take place post series – what happened can be left ambiguous, but I want the events of the four seasons released so far to be kept canonical for the fic. To keep it short, Catra feels sorry for what she did and keeps apologizing and trying to right the wrongs and become all around better person. I want her to pursue a romantic relationship with at least one of the girls, who are forgiving and accepting, seeing how much she changed. Must haves:

-Everybody lives. Literally everybody. Ideally they find a way to rescue even Mara.

-Former baddies work hard to make their wrongs right. Hordak is especially sorry and hard working. Others don't want to accept him, but his lab partner Entrapta would never leave him (you can interpret it romantically or as friendship)

-Fright Zone children have hard time adjusting to wider society. The Writer can develop that subplot as much or little as they want.
