This time, the rant is not about fandom, but about big name creators. I have, shortly one after another, watched two films that employed in large amount two tropes that I hate: Women in Refridgerators (female characters die for shock value and male characters' pain) and Minorities in Matchboxes (minority characters dying for shock value). This post was prompted by the new trailer suggesting this trope will apply in new episodes of Voltron Legendary Defender. I am pissed. Spoilers to all three franchises (Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool, Voltron) ahoy.
