I lost a friend over "everybody hates England" meme

I hate all that England-hating by the Americans, who in most cases were much worse to the ethnic groups they came in contact with, to the point that literally everyone but the WASPs would have been better off if America remained under British rule. Americans are acting as if they are so much better when they are so much worse. Zero historical awareness couples with enormous arrogance, even by the ethnic groups in question - particularly since they always forget the one group with very strong reasons for hating England: the Celts. It's sad, really.
(It doesn't mean British imperialism was benign, it just means American imperialism was worse.)
Furthermore, I came to a meeting of a local workers' party and honestly it was the last time I go to a workers' party meeting. Those idiots don't care at all about workers' rights, hell, on the very meeting they proposed a resolution that would have drastically worsened the situation of sex workers and literally laughed at me when I pointed it out, misgendering me by the way (at the beginning, I made sure to introduce myself and state my pronouns). They mock the idea of intersectionality and lick the boots of any and every communist regime. Those idiots. Couch revolutionaries. No wonder left does so poorly in Poland with such leftists.
(That said, I believe there might be a way to make a functional and humane socialist society. The ones the group worships are neither.)
But without a functional left, there's nobody to protect human rights in Poland. We no longer have free judicary branch, and a thirs of population lives in territorries with explicit anti-LGBT laws. But sure, you'd rather be living in North Korea.
